Smokeless and environment-friendly bacon smoker shares the correct cleaning method of smoked bacon
Step 1: dry dust brushing
Because it is smoked with firewood, the bacon hanging in the place where the smoke is concentrated will be stained with a lot of dust, which are small particles of firewood dust that are not completely burned. Please brush with a dry brush before burning skin.
Step 2: Roast skin on fire
Take the whole piece of smoked bacon and bake it directly on the fire. Note: Only the side with meat skin can be roasted until the meat skin turns black and begins to drip oil.
Step 3: Skin the meat
Use a knife to clean the dirt on the bacon skin and the burnt meat skin.
Step 4: Soak in hot water
Soak in heated rice washing water or warm water for 20 minutes. The rice washing water contains starch, which can absorb some oil. The rice washing water does not need to be boiled. When it is slightly hot, you can turn off the fire and put the bacon in.
Step 5: Scratch
After soaking, scrape off the residual dirt on the meat skin with a knife, and then rinse the bacon with clean water. Rinse several times.
Step 6: Boil
Cut the bacon into large pieces and boil it in boiling water for 20-30 minutes. The cooked bacon has become very clean, and the smell of smoke and salt has also been reduced a lot. After taking it out and cooling it, it can be changed into the shape you like, or fried or steamed.
